Athletics at Shorecrest
The Shorecrest Chargers Athletics Mission is to educate student-athletes through competitive opportunities and the life lessons of commitment, self-discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork.
Participation in Chargers Athletics interscholastic teams starts in sixth grade. Nearly 70% of the Upper School student body participates in at least one sport.
Both our Middle School Boys and Girls Soccer team ended their season with incredibly strong finishes ⚽️⚡️
Overall, the Boys ended with a 6-5-1 record and the Girls ended with a 9-1 record. Great work, Chargers!

Tomorrow we celebrate our Varsity Soccer seniors at home against Northside Christian School.
Our girls will be recognized before the 5 PM match, followed by the boys before their 7 PM match on Haskell Field.

Our JV Boys Soccer team heads into their home match this evening coming off of a 1-0 win against Clearwater Academy International last week and will wrap up their season this Friday against Out-of-Door Academy in Sarasota, Florida ⚽️

Jenna Burnett ‘28 led the Chargers with 22 points, Alex Lewis ‘26 brought in 13 points and Izzi Brown ‘26 had 7 Assists.
“To date, this game against Hollins was our most complete team performance,” said Coach Moore. “The drills, offensive execution, defensive intensity, and rebounding all showed up exactly how we’ve been working toward.”
They face off next against Tarpon Springs on Friday in an away match.

The Varsity Girls Basketball team won their match last night against the Universal Academy of Florida. The final score was 47-21.
It’s the Chargers third win on the season. They are back in action tomorrow evening against SLAM Tampa ⚡️🏀
