Athletics at Shorecrest
The Shorecrest Chargers Athletics Mission is to educate student-athletes through competitive opportunities and the life lessons of commitment, self-discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork.
Participation in Chargers Athletics interscholastic teams starts in sixth grade. Nearly 70% of the Upper School student body participates in at least one sport.

The Boys began their season with a strong debut despite the loss, according to their coach ⚡️
“The game felt close throughout and the team stayed competitive,” said Coach Jonathan Laneau. “This was the first ever lacrosse game for many of our players and yet they still held their own.”
For the Girls, in the match against St. Petersburg High School, it was an “amazing turnaround against a good team on the road,” said Coach Chris Ackerman. “The defense was excellent and the offense created plenty of opportunities.” It was their second match of the season 🥍
